Just wanted to say hey to everyone. I'm bioniceyes, aka Rick, and I'm new to the AC forums. I've been listening to the podcast for about a year and a half now, and finally traded in my first gen iWhat on a CDMA Galaxy Nexus De. 26.
I chose bioniceyes as my username instead of my usual chefrick (I'm a food historian and author) because I have been visually impaired (what some call "legally blind") for the past 14 years. As a result, I have had to become my own expert/guru/tech support for Android accessibility, so if the type on your phone is getting a little too small or your arm just doesn't hold it out far enough to focus on it anymore, I may be able to recommend some settings or apps to make your life easier.
I live in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina with my wife (iWhat 4s and Droid Pro ) and my teenage son (Sony Experia Play).
