Hi. Brand new from ios Since 08. Need a little help

Google Voice is a great option for visual voicemail. It can be a pain to set up but once working it's a great voicemail replacement. Also, unless you're a big audiophile, I doubt you can tell much of a difference (if any) between USB and AUX through your car's stereo. What I did was I got a mount and mounted it about 3 inches from the AUX port. That was I can use a short (6 inch; amazon for 2 bucks?) cable and everything looks clean and functions great. Don't know if that's even an option for your car but, FWIW. Welcome to Android!

Good suggestions, but for the car, and iPod wouldn't work because I need something with 3g/4g/lte because all my music is on MOG (I might switch to spotify though). I stream all my music from a subscription service.

I got the voicemail thing worked out though. Thanks so much!!

OK. Here's one more...

I'm used to making backups in iTunes, what's the equivalent for my Note 2?

Thanks again!!!

you'll find the backup department severely lacking on android. no one backup program will do a complete, reliable backup/restore like iTunes backup/restore. you'll find yourself clicking all kinds of options (look at carbon backup, for example) just to try and get a close to complete backup. the reality is, if you ever need to restore, you'll probably be spending at least an hour or two doing the restore, then trying to re-create what was lost on the home screen/launcher/general settings level. sorry. if i find a solution one day, i'll post it.

AUX to use in the far. Sounds awesome.
This is my first phone to have insurance on. I usually just get an extended warranty. But if it was stolen I would be out of luck. I am with Verizon. You need to ask AT&T what is offered and price on ins. I highly recommend getting ins. I don't have 700 to pay if something were to happen. I am very careful but glad I have the ins.

Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Note2

So aux in the car with noise cancellation is a great speaker phone and an ok solution for my music listening needs. The downside is that I can't see the song data on my onboard stereo display on the dash.

I got an otter box instead of att insurance because they charge 10 per month and still have a $300 deductible!

Not liking the Otter box too much but it was only $60.
