Hi! Building my first Android app

Hi all.

It's been pretty fun getting to know Android and the community around it. I always liked the idea of an open OS but never thought much about what you could build with it. I had a background in web software and started reading up on intents and different tasks that can be launched by the system.

Started working on an app with a friend. We'll post it here soon once it's decent

What's the app based on? Are you at liberty to discuss it at all?

Definitely. We recently released, I'm hoping ppl try it.

It's basically makes shortcuts to all your apps and even some cool stuff inside them, then gives you a smart keyboard to filter to things in 1 or 2 touches.

I posted a full description here yesterday and it went unanswered

Is that because the Beta sub is buried? Is there a better place for me to get feedback?

Did you post in the intro forum thread? Maybe you could try one of the other threads if you haven't already. I haven't even seen it yet. Also, they could be possibly looking it over for any threats. Beta always come at your risk, so give it time. I'll be happy to try it. That's why I have several phones, right?! It sounds great. I wish there was an app to retrieve unique bootloader keys in phones. Would save people tons of time, and aggravation. I'll give my feedback on your app ASAP!

We've been making a couple quick iterations but TBH it's daunting to try to figure out how to promote an app. We had like a handful of users forever. I've been hesitating posting it for I don't know what reason. Anyways, y'all being friendly is encouraging so I'm going to do it. Thanks!
