Hello, Android Central...I am not a newbie, I've actually been a member of Android Central for some time, but tonight, when searching for an answer to questions I had about my S5, I saw this message saying, 1st introduce yourself...I hadn't seen it before, or I would have already taken a min to do this...This message has probably been here all along, and I overlooked it, like what tends to happen with me alot of the time, because I don't pay enough attention! I apologize!! I love Android Central, and have been coming here quite frequently, ever since getting my 1st android, which was a RAZR. I loved that phone. I didn't usually come here for problems I was having with it, but only for knowledge, because after about a month of having the phone, I feel in love. With Android... After my RAZR, I got a RAZR Maxx HD, and then another one, then moved on to the 2013 Moto X, which made me fall in love all over again. After my X, I decided to try Samsung, and got an S5... Which is why I'm here today... Not trying to get to know anything, but once again having a few problems with that S5...I did have a few problems with each of my Moto devices (not many), but nothing like I've faced with this S5, since getting it on Black Friday. And then again, maybe it's just this stupid Verizon Lollipop update. I love a lot of different aspects of the S5, but it has taken Some getting used to- coming from only having used Motorolas. I still own my RAZR(although it has a cracked screen and has since gone static screen) and both of my Moto Xs(the 32GB I regularly still use and the 16GB one has a cracked screen but is still very operational) Sometimes I wonder if I shouldn't just use the main Moto X full time again. But I just refuse to let this dang S5 get the best of me.
Anyway, I only wanted to introduce myself, and say I was very sorry for not having done so before... And tell you guys how much I love Android Central. I also wanted to thank this site for its invaluable information and for helping me time and again with the questions I've had the last few years. So Thanks Android Central!

Hello and welcome!

I also have a GS5, mine's with Sprint. It worked great from last year until I got the lollipop update.
Some stuff would act a little out of the usual and the battery didn't last as long as it used to.
Both issues have gotten better. Well, the battery isn't up to what it used to be, but it's better.
I hope that after I give it to my wife (after a factory reset of course) it'll perform better.
