I ordered the fold 7 which will be available on the 20th for pickup at Best Buy. If it actually is IP68 rated, I will probably pull the trigger given the rainy ass place I live.

Nice , I think the Fold 7 IP rating is IP48 not 68

I realize I wasn’t very clear. If the fold 10 rating is actually IP68. I will pull the trigger on the pixel over the Samsung.

What would be the push for you? It would be a good start for me and the sandy Lake Michigan beaches. But if they upgraded all the lenses to the same as the standard Pro pixels that would be what pushes me over.

That's a good question, I have the first Pixel fold (thought it was the best size, inner screen damaged but front ok , not my fault )

What won me over is the thinness of the Fold 7 and OS , I don't take my foldables to the beach,lakes or water I have other phones for that .

I get that, I loved my OG fold for its aspect ratios. But being on Lake Michigan the foldables make me nervous being at the beach often for 5-6 months a year.

Yeah I wouldn't want a foldable yet to be that long at the beach , if so put in waterproof bag or something similar

Looks like Pixel 10 pro fold is complete failure. No movement here. Unfortunate, Google didn't make any progress this year.

I got mine today. Setup everything and will be using as my main secondary phone for the next several days. I also got the Pixel Watch 4 and paired it with the 10 Pro Fold.
