Hello Everyone!
As stated in the thread, I am happy to be here. I love the vibrant community that I have seen over the half a month I first started visiting this site and the dedication to the Android platform. I can say that because of you guys I am now hardcore set on getting an android phone! I will not lie, I am still enticed by the Apple's marketing, but Android is just so much more open, customizable, and appealing. Android feels futuristic; IOS feels now. I like futuristic better.
To describe myself I must first state I am madly in love with my religion. It has worked so many miracles in my life and it has given so much tangibility to the love that I am no longer in any doubt about its existence. If any of you ever needed a person to talk to please feel free to message me or email. I love you guys without ever having to know you because of this. But then again, you guys like android and so we tend to be pretty fly people so I'm sure it makes it 10 times easier to love you guys

I love friends and communication as well. My drug is late nights, early mornings, and electronic music in between. Friends are my secondary backbone you could say. Without them life isn't as fun and that's my philosophy regarding them. Friends are your family and people you can get close with without it becoming some crazy late night encounter that gets posted to facebook. Religion has always been my closest friend.
My entertainment is netflix, worship, and video games. Reading tech blogs can get thrown in there too. I love to write and talk with others. Helping out poor people is fun too actually. No joke. It makes you feel good on the inside. Nothing really else there.
The shows I watch on Netflix are usually anime series or Sci-Fi shows. I am a huge Battlestar Galactica Fan (Re-imagined series) and Star-Trek: Voyager is my poison of choice. I miss Covert Affairs as that was another favorite T.V. show of mine. Movies I watch are Star Wars of course. Salt was an excellent movie that is apart of my collection now. The Bourne Series is always good to watch. Video Games range all over the place. I love a good shooter but my main thing now has been Action Rpgs such as Mass Effect. That is by far my most favorite game. Second best is Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem. Go and play that one. It is an awesome story. I am not into World of Warcraft. Same stuff different look. I am hoping Guild Wars 2 or The Old Republic knocks them out the water. I have been video gaming since I was 5 and even a little before. One of my fondest memories was playing Final Fantasy 7 and falling asleep to it. Fun times. I got so far as to have to switch the disc! I feel smart.
Music is such a big part of my life! I am very eclectic but the genres I am usually ok with are R&B, Jazz, Dubstep, Techno, Electronic, Acoustic, and certain kinds of worship music. I am not a rock person. It never sat well with me. There is only one band I like and they are called the Road to Milestone. Check them out too! I try to stay away from mainstream music since it has become so manufactured and produced to cater to people's most base desires. I like my music to deal with more topics than sex, sadness, or "throwing your hands in the air." Or alcohol for that matter. No one wants to hear about your pounding down the shots; if we all did we would just go to our local bar and watch the hilarity ensue.
Besides that... My mission in life is to spread the good word. I have a channel on youtube call cappuccinowithrobert and as well a tumblr and wordpress with both the same name so feel free to check those out.
I am sorry for any misspellings in my words or phrases not making sense I am in somewhat of a hurry but I hope to get to know some of you well and I look forward to discussing all things Android and life with you all.
