hi i have a quick question

i made a post a while back, and didn't really get very much helpful information, because of some of the information i gave i think got us on the track, so now i think i can make a new post with better information, is this ok, do i need to delete my old post? i just don't know for sure what the policy is and i don't see any admin button to ask a specific person

The easiest way would be to find that previous thread and continue the discussion there. You should be able to review your old posts, so you can find it easily and then add your additional information there. Adding a post to the the thread bumps it up in the New Posts list, making it more visible again.
