...and I downloaded the Doubletwist app from the market. Now, i downloaded the free version, but now it's saying I need to download the $4.99 app. I'm not sure if I need to or not. Any thoughts?

Secondly, I'm using itunes and a Macbook. So, I'm wondering if anyone else has had to try to download this combination of companies.

BTW, this is my first post and I'm super stoked to be here, as I am a huge Android fan. I LOVE my Incredible.

So, Hello to everyone and I look forward to chatting in the near future.

Welcome! Sorry, I don't know about macs. You should be able to use dT to do a usb sync for free. The wifi sync costs $5. In my experience, dT has always been supper slow (on PC) and unusable for me. Some people use Media Monkey (Paid).

I use a PC to sync my music. You can also drag & drop music into the SDCard. "Syncing" is not required. Use Google Listen to download podcasts straight to your phone. That removes a lot of the need to sync right there.

I have a Mac too and I had tried Doubletwist in the beginning but found it was just easier and much more simpler to just drag and drop the songs into the music folder of my SD card.

Drag and drop on a Mac is pretty straightforward. If you're gonna use doubletwist you'll need 10.5 or higher. I just tonight tried "easy phone tunes" but couldn't get it to recognize the phone. I'm still on 10.4.11 so that might be my problem. Thats why i drag and drop to my music folder on my SD card.

Tried DT and absolutely hated it. I gave it a fair shot but it was excruciatingly slow. I'm talking hours. ISyncr was the second app I tried and I've had no reason to try anything else. It works great, and most importantly, it uses the album art from iTunes. Good luck!

Thanks so much for the info. It's funny you mention about the 10.5 or later. I received an iPod touch for Xmas and my Mac is 10.4.11 and it said I need 10.5.8 or later.

Thats another 200 buckaroos. Dang.

Anyways, thanks to everyone for the responses.

I hear you. Considered going to 10.5 but i don't think this old a$$ macbook could take it.

Isyncr also requires 10.5 or higher. As i said above, drag and drop it baby.
