Hi, new to forum

Hello, I am new to the forum and Android phones, have used Blackberry's for years and took the plunge to the Droid recently. I have a Motorola Droid X personal phone and my company just swapped me over to a Motorola Droid X2 for my company phone. I am considering an Android tablet and have been looking at the Nook Color because of the price and its ability to run from a Micro SD card. That is what brought me to the forum. I am interested in creating an SD card that will boot the Nook into Froyo ( Honeycomb also although I hear it is still buggy) without voiding the warranty. I am not a programmer so I am a bit deficient on the technical side and appreciate the help that is available here. Anyway, now that I have been extremely long winded, thanks for any help you provide in the future.
