Hi, Why is there a capital "G" at the top of my droid maxx screen?

How do I get rid of it? Thanks

Does it look like the Google G? If so, it's the Google Now notification icon.

And, to get rid of it:

- Open the Google app
- Tap the menu control top left (the "hamburger" icon)
- Tap Settings
- Tap Now cards
- Turn off Notifications
