I am new to the forums here an just started a account. Seems like a good place for info on android phones. I consider myself a average computer user. My question is I have a Droid3 an installed a new extended (not Motorola ) 3500mAh battery. Problem is it doesn't read correctly the battery capacity. I have had it for 4 days now an charging It from empty to full each time hoping it will learn battery. It has not. Is there anyway to get it to learn battery w/out rooting phone? An I have never rooted a phone before. But considering it if I have no choice. Thanks for any in for.
