When you have the navigation bar hidden, the home button is still active even though it's hidden. Is there a way to not have the home button active while hidden.
Only thing I've found is to put the sensitivity as low as it will go. I gotta say, I don't really understand the button. I don't get what it's for. When you have the navigation bar hidden, the home button is still active even though it's hidden. Is there a way to not have the home button active while hidden.
I just started messing around with the sensitivity. I just don't know why they didn't make it so while the navigation bar is hidden the home button doesn't work. I just changed it to the lowest and it works better. Before the home button was activating as I was swiping the navigation bar back up closing the app when I just wanted to hit back button.Only thing I've found is to put the sensitivity as low as it will go. What exactly is the button for? Doesn't the home button in the navigation bar do the same thing?I just started messing around with the sensitivity. Yes. I suppose it's so you can exit out of an app without swiping the navigation bar up, just hard press the home button area and the app is closed. What exactly is the button for? Doesn't the home button in the navigation bar do the same thing?
I think you mean when sensitivity is decreased, but yeah, agree. Before I decreased the sensitivity I was tripping it all the time swiping up for the navigation bar making it a pain.Yeah, I think it's a good feature when the sensitivity is increased. Otherwise it's too easy to accidentally do it.
You're correct lol. That's what I meant.I think you mean when sensitivity is decreased, but yeah, agree. Before I decreased the sensitivity I was tripping it all the time swiping up for the navigation bar making it a pain.
I wish that at least the back button worked that way as well. I don't use the recents that often, but going back in an app can become cumbersome if you have to swipe up every time you want to do so.I don't have an s8 (s7 edge) but I think it's a shame Samsung didn't make the back button and recent Apps work this way too. Would be great to be able to operate the phone fully even with the buttons hidden. When I had a nexus in the past I used to find it annoying having to swipe up the navigation keys
Well at least something that annoyed me at first alerted others to this feature. Now that I have the sensitivity setting right I like it.I genuinely didn't even know this was a thing til you mentioned it and I tried it. This will save me swiping up the nav bar everytime I want to hit the home button
For some reason I don't want to hide the navigation bar at all. I like to see it present so I can go back or exit immediately. I'll have to try the hidden nav bar and see how that works.
