Hidden Picture Subfolders?

Hello Everyone,

I just moved over from my blackberry tour to the HTC Incredible. I have basically synced all my videos/pictures to the phone. I have two questions though.

1. Is there a way to create subfolders when using mass storage mode. I understand I could use a file manager, but I would like to be able to hide/unhide these and look @ certain files (documents, pictures, videos) when I need to when not plugged in to a computer and from what I understand when you manage your files from a program like Astro you need to be at a computer to do so.

2. I also was wondering if it was possible to mass move files to certain folders, instead of one by one. On my blackberry I had different files in different folders, some hidden, some not. When I sort these out in my DCIM folder in mass storage mode they still show up under all photos and there is no way for me to filter them or unhide the ones that were hidden on my BB (unless I did it through windows).

Thanks for the help.

Just put the ones you want to hide in a folder on sd card named PORN and they will be seperate from the shots of your wife and kids!

I appreciate the response, but it's not porn. It's actually sensitive work documents and work related pictures that I have saved to the SD card and I need to be able to access from time to time. I have the pictures in separate folders but they're still showing up under "All Pictures."

yeah i would like to know how to hide pictures to cause i got a bunch of pictures that my son doesnt need to see, he likes to play with phones and he's almost 7 so im sure he can figure out how to get to them :)

I have an Eris... but i use a program called HideNSeek - check the app store

It shows up as a flashlight app on my phone, then you click the menu button 3 times and a password bar pops up, enter the correct password, and you can access all my files....

That sounds perfect. So how do you put files/pics, etc in there?

Just create a folder on your sd card and put a "." in front of the file name. The phone will not recognize it and the only way to see what is inside is to use Astro or another file browser.

Thanks for the app recommendations. I guess there's really nothing as good as blackberry was for this. Being able to only access files from the computer doesn't work and most hide apps I've seen only do individual files. Not folders and they don't have a mass hide option.
