Hiding Widgets?

Is there a way to select and hide individual widgets so that they are not visible in your widget drawer? You can do it for apps, but I haven't found that option for widgets.

I'll probably never use the vast majority of widgets that are in there. Would love it if I can hide them to eliminate clutter.

I should also note that I'm running Nova Prime as my launcher.

How are you accessing your widgets? From the app drawer?

Long pressing on my home screen or single tap on my home key, then choosing widgets.
