High processor usage

things are working really well now for the rest of the day at least. One thing I have noticed is about set cpu. When I said it to power save or on demand it won't turn on after the screen goes off. Like it can't get the cpu going once it's been in the idle state. That one had me panicked a few times

what kernel are you using again?

I'm running the low voltage 1200MHz voodoo kernel for the DI01 ROM. I'm basically just holding out for this monday to see what this mystical MR2 update is. Then depending on what it is I might flash a new ROM and change the kernel.

i could be wrong but i dont think voodoo and set cpu play well together.

I would believe that actually. And that could very well explain all the problems I've been having recently. I'll change on monday depending on how things turn out with the update

I believe you're right, this isn't the first time someone has complained about issues with this combination before now that I think about it.

You need it for those old Voodoo OC kernels otherwise they default to 800mhz on boot. We're talking about Dirrk's I assume?

YES! I mixed voodoo with that and out caused a hell of a mess for me. I like to never got the phone back to stock over Odin either. Get rid of that setup asap.

Hey maybe yall can help me with somthing. I havnt rooted as of yet but just like 2 nights ago i got launcher pro plus. After geting that i have kind of had a problem with my battery going down like crazy fast. Also if you go to task manager and look at summary its running near 250mb used and before i got lpp i would run at 200 at the most. I havnt changed anything else. should i rest my phone to see if there is a appt running in the back ground or what can i do???

What's "crazy fast"? Could just be "smartphone fast". . .
Haha jk. try downloading watchdog to see if there is an app using up more CPU than is should. RAM isnt as big as a battery drainer as CPU. If there is nothing weird going on just reset the phone and try this out. . .

go back to your touch wiz launcher and delete all icons and widgets. delete all but the one home page. even though you have lpp you still have touch wiz running in the back ground. you want to minimize touch wiz as much as possible. that sould help some aswell.
