I've had my phone (stratosphere 2) for about 5 months now and my ram has been moderately low. Just recently a few weeks ago I noticed my ram has been about this high (see picture). I thought maybe it was from the launchers but not quite sure. I've tried using several different memory cleaners but my ram remains high. How can I fix this? uploadfromtaptalk1369142731213.jpg

First off, Android runs better when the RAM is closer to full. Apps load quicker due to the fact that they are still in the memory. HOWEVER, you can better utilize your RAM by disabling unused apps, and bloatware which is probably your main concern. If you are running 4.0 or better you can do this through Settings>Application Manager. If you are not, you need to root and get an app like Titanium Backup, and freeze apps.

I am running 4.1.2 and I have disabled a couple of the apps I don't use. My phones been pretty slow lately and I figured maybe it was b/c my ram was so high. Anyway what bloatware would you recommend disabling ?

Go to Settings..App Manager..swipe over to all apps. As we have different providers the list will be different. But for example I saw Yahoo news last night...guess what got disabled?
