High Res wallpaper ?

i was wondering why it keeps cropping my image down and it looks distorted. The image is the same resolution as the phone and a crop square comes up everytime I pick my wallpaper. Any help would be greatly appreciated !

I wondered the same thing.

You actually need 960X800 images.

All my images need to be cropped too but they looks crisp and clear when I use them as a wallpaper. I'm using images I found on the internet and not camera pics.

This. Find a wallpaper and resize it to these dimensions, shouldn't have any problems. If you're using Launcher Pro by any chance tho, it might be that. With Launcher Pro I had problems with wallpaper the screen, or being too stretched out.
