high resolution google contact caller id pics

Tried and tried and can't seem to get my caller I'd pics from Google contacts to be hi rez. I even tried setting a local image but it always comes up fuzzy. Any ideas?

I dont have a solution, but i hope that someone knows something. The pics are horrible. For the time being im linking my contacts to fb. The images are much better.

The only way I was able to do it on the 4G was to not link the contacts to my google account and just link them to the phone. I did the same with my 3D.

The work around I use is to create another contact for the person minus the information like phone number, etc and attach the high res contact id and save it as a phone entry not google. Then link the contacts and select use phone contact id.

Yes I know its alot of work but I cant stand the crappy pictures...

Are you doing this for all of your contacts? I am looking for a solution for my 1200+ contacts.

Too much work, maybe i'll do it for my 4 most contacted. Silly though, why does Google not allow for high res pics?

Just add a few at a time. Doesn't take too long to make a "Phone" contact to link to your google contact.
