Hmmmm. My moto x camera shake action isn't working except when phone is awake/open....

It's a new moto so it didn't stop working, it just never has, but my older one had issues as well. Recs?

Seems the update turned this off.
Go back into camera options and turn it on and it will be as it used to be.

my setting was still on and works fine. if anything i think it works faster.

Are you using an app like lockscreen policy to disable camera access from lockscreen?

ahhhh, I am. And i just turned it off and now the camera shake works. Arrrgh, I HATE those darn widget rectangles. Might even give up my camera shake. argh. blargle.

You could try keeping widgets disabled and only enable camera?

Fwiw the widget rectangles are gone in KitKat. I hated them too.

yeah, tried that, then i still get 1 rectangle, lol, but it's better than 2!

kitkat can remove that + by disabling widget in setting. so wait for it
