I need a smartphone that it is easy to remove the cameras (for security at work). Is there a hole in the back cover for the camera/flash, or is there a clear lens so that if I remove the camera there isn't a gaping hole to the internals? Thanks!

I'm not sure I understand, are you trying to remove the cameras out of the phone?

I don't think you can, well, you might after a great hassle. I don't think is worth it.

Yes, I am going to remove the camera from the phone, and it is very easy with simple youtube videos to show how. I just need to know if the rear cover has a built in window covering the camera, or it relies on the camera module itself to seal the phone.

The stock back cover has a gaping hole in it as does all replacement covers/cases that I have seen. If you are allowed a cell phone but no camera attached what arexyou going to do about the front facing camera?

Rather get a cell phone without a camera (if such an animal still exists)

Front facing camera is even easier to pull, as I don't have to pull the mainboard out to get it out.

Try the galaxy s3. My camera back then wasn't working and I fixed it myself. It was pretty much easy to take off but I did not taking off the front facing camera. Btw why not ask your manager for a work phone? He'll probably provide you either an iPhone or a blackberry

S4 should be good for that.
