I took this photo back in the middle of November in the self checkout lane at our local Kroger.
Caught totally unaware by Santa who was doing a little shopping himself.
When asked what he wanted for Christmas my son replied "I dunno, I've got everything I want" - to which I said "New XBOX SON! Tell him you want a new Xbox!"
Santa laughed then asked if I had a "camera phone" and if it was OK to take a picture.
Totally random guy made me and my boys day (and severely made his sister jealous).

Took a post Thanksgiving roadtrip with my wife. We visited Stratton for a day of boarding, Montreal then Maine for some lobsters. Only, most of the cities were closed for some reason! Not much to do or see... This photo kind of sums up our trip.

The holidays means being on Hilton Head with family. It's the place none of us are from but one where we are at home when the whole family is together on the island for the holidays. Seeing the island dressed up in lights gets us all in the holiday spirit.
