Did you order the Tab s9 & a Watch 6 or another device? Maybe they are splitting the deliveries between the UPS & FedEx. That doesn't sound very efficient. And one requires a signature, the other doesn't... Maybe they are sending a free goodie!
Logical explanation, except I have 3 separate tracking #s from FedEx that coincide with 3 separate orders. Watch 6C, and 2 Tabs. The Watch has the same reference # (Samsung order#) on both UPS and FedEx. Idk... I'll just wait and see.

UPDATE: Just got update from Samsung. The UPS shipment is the fabric band that came free with the W6C. Why not pack it with the watch? So inefficient.

Interesting... Let us know how this plays out.

Received 6 classic from verizon today delivered by ups
Did you purchase the LTE variant?

I am curious if anyone got a good deal for BT models from wireless carriers.

Samsung gave me quite a bit for my GW5 Pro trade-in and I don't have to make any deals with my cell phone carrier that would bind me to their service. This fall, I plan to pay off this Z Fold 3 to get the S23U and I'll just fork out the extra dough to have it paid off as well.

They're making phones take 3 years now to keep the monthly installments down and I hate it. I don't like being stuck with the same phone for that long.

No UPS notification for me and I got the free fabric band with my order. Guess, it will come as a single package on Tues (8/8).
Yes, It only makes sense to be packed with the watch. I've never gotten the extra band separately before, and from a different shipper at that.

My expected shipping date for a Silver 47" classic is Sept 15, however, when I check Samsung's website now and try a mock order it shows "get it by Aug 11". I hope it arrives sooner than Sept 15!

I agree however the package from UPS is expected to arrive on 8/9 and the shipping details says it weighs 0.3 lb (no reference to dimensions).

The FedEx package hasn't moved or update since 8/2 but it's 2 day shipping so it appears they just put them in a holding bay untill Monday and then resume the process. The package details for it states 1 lb and it's a decent size box per dimensions.

So annoying how Samsung makes you wait. WTH is the point if they will allow other retailers (cell carriers) to distribute the same product much sooner?Screenshot_20230805_110928_FedEx.jpg

I hear you all talking about your expected delivery dates. I ordered my watch on the 26th right after the event and I still have no shipping information. At this point I'm not sure when I will get my watch.

There is no shipping info for my watch on the Samsung Shop app. The only way I know Samsung has begun the process is because I installed the FedEx app on my phone and created a free account. As soon as FedEx shows anything in it's system for you/your address, you'll get to see it.

Also, I have done the same for UPS app. Both will give you more detailed information about products being shipped than what Samsung shows or even doing a generic tracking number search.

Yes, the Samsung app is way behind. For FedEx, use track by reference. Put your order # in, including the "US", then your destination zip code and track. It's usually the most current shipping info, even before you get a tracking notification.

I'm sure your Watch is on the move with the rest of ours.

Are you sure you have to sign for your delivery? Usually they list 'Signature Required' or simular wording under the Special Handling. (Maybe it just wasn't included in your screenshot.)

Good point. I don't see it stated, but looking on FedEx website, it sounds like signature may still depend on the discrepancy of the driver:

"There are many shipments FedEx delivers that do not require a signature from the recipient. In many cases, FedEx will still attempt to obtain a signature at the designated delivery address. If no one is available to sign, FedEx may leave the package in a safe place without obtaining a signature."

There's also this:

"FedEx does not always require a signature for shipment delivery. The signature requirement or type of signature requirement is selected by the shipper when they are creating the shipping label.

However, signatures are always required for many types of shipments to be delivered, such as permitted shipments of alcohol, high value package goods, dangerous goods, hazardous materials, pharmaceuticals, and firearms."

The "high value packaged goods" part also makes me suspicious they may try to leave a door tag. Oh well, I guess I'm about to find out on Tuesday!

That's good info! So in essence, we just never really know for sure.

Thank you for researching FedEx and sharing these details with us.

It will be interesting to see how these delivery scenarios play out...

The watches made it to my state yesterday about 68 miles away. I expect they will arrive in my city today & be out for delivery tomorrow. Getting close...☺️

My watch band has not had a label made & my husband's watch band does have a label, but UPS hasn't received it yet. I'm not overly concerned about the watch bands.
