HOME button changed to MENU button???

Hello everyone My names Ray first time here. I was curious if someone would be willing to trade information with me. I'm a mechanic by hobbie and am good with cars. I've done every thing from engine swaps to rebuilds. I will be more then glad to help someone with any car issues they might have if they can walk me through how to fix this on my phone. I was hoping someone could tell me why and how to fix my home button on my note 2. for some reason it is now the menu button. every time i press the home button it acts as the menu button. The menu button also acts as the menu button. So my phone now has 2 menu buttons. It is really frustrating to keep hitting the back over and over again just to get home.

Do you have a launcher installed or are you rooted?

The phone is stock. never added or rooted anything except angry birds and some other games.

Such as Home 2 or Apex, Nova, etc..

So looking, I see no way to remap buttons without rooting, except using a launcher.

i added angry birds,,,pandora..cut the rope and ign and twitter..thats it

I don't know how it could have happened at all, it can't be done without a launcher or rooting.

The only thing I would know would be a factory reset, but you have to set your phone back up.
