home button flush with body of phone?

Should my galaxy s5's home button be flat/ flush with the rest of the phone and barely raised at all? (It clicks and functions fine)
I've only owned the phone since Sept. 25th. I'm new to Samsung phones so this had me a bit concerned..

It can't be both flush with the rest of the phone and barely raised at all. It's ether flush or raised.

Mine is not raised much at all, maybe 0.5mm
