Home button options

When I push the home button, I either get the Google assistant, or my keyboard with recent apps. Is there a way to change those two options?

not really unless you root. you can always download nova. not exactly changing the home button, but they let you create gesture on the home screen for different options.

What are you trying to change the home button to? Maybe there are other solution for that.
