Home button question

After a nightmare experience with Verizon, I finally have my S8 coming next week. Does anyone miss the physical home button? I am using a Pixel and the on-screen home button gets on my nerves. It isn't very efficient but it seems technology is moving this way.

No. Don't miss it all. After figuring out how to do a cache partition wipe without it it's not missed at all.

I think the part that I am missing about the home button is the fingerprint scanner.

Having the scanner on the back of the phone is just annoying.

Yes but the scanner works really well.

I came from a 7 plus. Apple got rid of the hardware home button but still had the sunk home button so I'm a little use to it. But no I don't miss it at all. This phone is exactly what I have been askijng for for the last 3 years

No I don't miss it.I have been using LG v20 that does not have physical button either.As far as finger print scanner on back so is.the v20.only thing I don't like on s8 plus is the fps is to side of camera and not as sensitive as LG v20.too bad Samsung did not put fps below camera or on front
