Home button too sensitive

Recently the home button on my AT&T Galaxy S6 has become very sensitive, to the point where you can touch it with no pressure and it leaves apps. Pressing it once mostly does a double tap. Is there any way to toggle settings for this?

Hi! I'm not sure if there are any home button-specific settings to toggle. But maybe a Samsung user knows of some tricks (my mom has the S6 Edge and so I've dabbled with Samsung, but I've never owned a Samung product before). How old is your device, and have you dropped it or anything as of late? Does the home button feel shaky or loose?
