Home key turning phone on in my pocket.

The home key keeps turning on my phone in my pocket. After the phone is on, various touch areas change settings, etc.

I can't find a way to turn off the home key. Is it possible.

Are you using a lock screen?

I think I found the answer. From Settings->Lock screen and security->Always on Display the selections options are:
Home button and clock, Clock, and Home button. I changed the setting from Home button and clock to simply Clock.
