home screen in landscape

Can you set ip the phone so you can see any of the home screens in landscape view?

You can do that with a third party launcher: Launcher Pro or ADW... but as far as i know there is no such option on motoblur.... i have launcher pro right now installed and enjoying it its highly costumisable and looks much much better than motoblur...

No you dont need to be rooted its available on market uts sort of like an alternative theme like on blafkberry....

Nope, just download it from the Market and press the home key. It'll ask if you want to use the old launcher, or your new downloaded launcher program. ADW or Launcher Pro work really well. Free, easy.

It's interesting since a docked phone will display in landscape mode.

Does it really? Mine doesn't even though under settings, display, I checked "auto-rotate screen" What did I miss?

launcher pro user here. Very smooth and stable.

The atrix will rotate, but only when docked.

I just disabled and then re-enabled it in Go Launcher and a notice popped up saying it had to be enabled in Android too. Go to Android settings>display and make sure "auto-rotate screen" is checked.

I just re-read what you said. Do you mean it's enabled in your Android settings or Go Launcher? It needs to be enabled in both.
