Home screen red tint after VZ 10.0 Update

Just updated to 10.0 today, and my home screen background has a red tint to it. I haven't changed anything after the update. Blue filter is off. Not sure what else to check. Anyone else have this issue?

Are you using natural or vivid display settings? Have you tried switching from natural to vivid or vice versa?

I'm using vivid, but changing didn't do anything. I should note that the lock screen (which has the same background) does not have the tint issue.

Yes I just updated my s10 5min ago and theres now a red tint only on my homepage screen. I tried restarting the phone and resetting the displays but no luck

Wait I found the problem. So my phone is set on dark mode. I switched it and turned it off and the red disappeared. I think its just a dark mode feature

This morning my phone is fine, presumably because it's the morning and dark mode is no longer on. I hope this update didn't ruin dark mode with a red tint.

I think this is the problem. My AT&T S10+ is doing this as well. Kinda sucks bc I keep dark mode on all the time.

Found the fix. It's in the display settings under dark mode. Tap dark mode and click "apply to wallpaper" off.

Thank you for that piece of information. I've been running Android 10 since the 1st beta and this has annoyed me for a while.

I've also had the red tint on my home screen, but have turned dark mode on or off with or without wallpaper setting and it's still there. Very frustrating. Any other ideas?

Swipe down the top panel when youre on your home screen and click on the dark mode and click on details and then turn off "apply to wallpaper" and boom!!
