Home screen shortcuts not working after A12 update.

I have just updated to Android 12 and home screen shortcuts no longer work and you are left with a black screen.

What device? So, you can see icons on your home screen but when you tap them nothing happens except just a black screen? Have you tried safe mode?

Updated my Samsung A52S 5G today to A12 and now none of my homescreen shortcuts work. I am left with only a black screen

You using 3rd party launcher or stock?

Further to my earlier post after installing A12 the homescreen shortcuts that didn't work were all webpage shortcuts using chrome browser. I have since renewed all of the webpage shortcuts that didn't work by using another browser. They all work now, so there must be a problem with the chrome browser.

Sometimes, those website shortcuts can get messed up. I've seen posts about how they can disappear after an update to Chrome itself. If you remove all of those shortcuts and then re-create them, do they work again?
