Homemade dock for Maxx

Just thought I'd share my project. Nothing fancy but functional. I made it so I don't have to guess where to put the phone when it's dark at bedtime. My wife helped too! Anyone else got something?

Took a chunk of 2x6, routed a pocket, and sanded it down some. Drilled some crappy looking holes. Cut up some 1/2 dowel. Stuck some rubber pads that are for cabinet dampening on bottom side. Wife likes to paint. I was thinking of making a nicer one and this one be a prototype. But I have other projects that need to be completed.
