Procedure to reproduce:

- Go to your homescreen
- Add a folder
- Touchwiz crashes

- Press home key to re-launch the homescreen
- Drag and drop an app shortcut into the folder
- Touchwiz crashes.

Basically anything you try to do with folders crashes. Also it likely is related to this but there is no drag and drop auto-folder functionality on the Verizon Note 2. Compared to a Nexus and S3 and both could do it just fine, but the Note 2 refuses to do the auto create folder function.

I just went to my homescreen added a folder and saved it, and nothing happened. I didn't put anything in it just made a folder. Odd.

I made all kinds of folders to set this up like I had my S3 and have had no issues.

I have no problems with using folders on my home screen.

Im not having this problem either. Maybe you should do a factory reset.

Good call. Once I did that I have no problems now. Odd because the display unit was having the exact same problem that's why it was the first thing I tested. Weird. I still wonder why we can't auto create folders likete s3 and nexus.

I had this problem constantly at least a few times everyday. I found somewhere that if you have animator transition set to zero (the default is 1.5 I think) then this can cause it. I have all the animations at zero so I changed animator transition, under developer options, to 0.5. Will update if crashes again.
