Is there anyway to stop any more homescreens being created on the s8.

Some form of lock out ?

You control the number of screens and there is only one 'home' screen. What are causing yours? Do you have so many apps they are creating screens for overrun? Confused by your question I guess.

No it's me probably not explaining myself clearly.
I would like to be able to stop additional homescreens being created like when you long hold on the screen and press the + symbol.

Ahh, okay, got it. Don't think you can do that with the stock launcher, at least I haven't seen mention of it anywhere.

Let me ask this, same topic. I have a clean home screen, nothing on it. Anytime I download a new app, it puts it on the second screen, if I delete the screen, it makes a new one. Any way to get it not to happen?

Go to play store, down to settings. Under settings tab look at the second option. If there's a check in "add app to home screen" remove it.

Good tip.

Made that change in settings a while ago to stop an app appearing on my phone homescreen.

I just have a few main apps at the bottom dock.

Then either swipe up or use the apps edge.
