Honor 8 Bluetooth Toggle

Anyone facing issues trying to toggle Bluetooth On and Off from the Notification Centre dropdown or the settings menu on the Honor 8? It takes a lot of time to turn it on/off for me and sometimes it doesn't respond at all.

I have EMUI 5.0.1 and Build number is FRD-L02C67B350

First thing I try with any electronics is turn off and restart, well sometimes the first thing on large items is a whack or kick.

That is a good idea. I assumed that he already tried but if he hasn't then it's the first point to start at

I've experienced what you are talking about. Does not happen all the time but I'll notice that when I click the icon in the pull down menu it could lag or not do anything. This also happens with the wifi icon as well. I think it's just a bug in the software. It will either resolve itself or my phone is due for a restart. Usually I use the widget to turn it on and off, don't notice the problem with that.

I have this issue, plus the Bluetooth sometimes turns itself off also and won't turn back on unless you persevere

Hmm... That's a weird issue for sure. Do you have any apps controlling Bluetooth like Tasker?

Nope, it's all stock.

One minute it's on and my Fitbit app is giving me my stats, the next the Bluetooth is off and stats have stopped. Pressing the button in the notification window or accessing the Bluetooth button in the settings doesn't turn it on, the symbol when touched goes blue temporarily before knocking back to grey. So annoying! After repeatedly pressing and playing it eventually turns back on!

Nope, it's all stock.

Hmmm.. Not really sure what to suggest. If you are under warranty then you can try to contact them for troubleshooting and perhaps a warranty replacement.

That's a good idea. I would try that first before contacting Huawei for additional support. They will most likely make you do the same thing anyway

Yeah, all support will tell you to factory reset. In some situations, that's all you need to do.

But if that didn't work then support usually recommends a warranty fix
