Honor 8 Charging Speeds

Curious on how fast everyone can re-charge their Honor 8's? How quick does it charge from you from low battery to 100%?

I never really let it drop past 25% (if I'm not home) or 33-36% if I am on my way home or home already. In those cases, I like that I can wake up at 6:50 and leave at 7:35 with an almost full battery and finish charging that last 3-5% during my commute.

Dead (3%) to 100% in 90 minutes.
I've tried it 3 times now.
It's the same every time.

Thank you, this is great information to know! My phone battery is either corrupt or nonfunctional right now, so it's great to be looking at a phone whose battery is reliable enough to leave it on a charger for less than an hour and get an almost-full charge.

Hi,
I installed the Android N over TWRP and now I "recalibrated" my battery. That means, I have discharged phone at 0% ( phone turned off itself and then I repeated once, so turned off itself 2 times = 0% ) then I put it off to charge it ( with orig quick charger for Honor8 ) and here are my times:

18:10 - 18:22 0% - 20% 12min
18:10 - 18:34 0% - 40% 24min
18:10 - 18:39 0% - 50% 29min
18:10 - 18:54 0% - 70% 44min
18:10 - 19:02 0% - 80% 58min
18:10 - 19:14 0% - 90% 64min
18: 10 - 20:01 0% - 100% 111min

Phone is not a bit warm, which I think is amazing. I know that before (with MM and with turn on the phone) is periodically heated. Next time I try charge and write times, with phone turned on. Now I'm wondering what will be the battery life of the phone with N.

...this was 3 weeks a go...

On first charge, I think it took a little under or over an hour. But I'm assuming that that time will even out after a few charging cycles.

Seems a little short for a full charge but maybe things are still calibrating

Probably shorter because it wasn't a drained battery to begin with.

Hmm, it was super late at night and I was tired lool so it could have even been an extra fifteen minutes or so. Plus I had plugged it in at 12%.

I do find it interesting though that some have it in under an hour and some take around 100 minutes. That's a pretty big spread.

Definitely a big spread, for sure! We'll see what it does next time it's charging.

Your poor battery getting drained to 0% so many times for these results. But thanks for the charging times!. Thats actually really good. Especially from 0% to 80% in under 1 hour! thats crazy haha. My phone (not Honor 8) normally takes around 2 hours from 15% to full.

I wonder if there is some undocumented differences between either the phones or chargers since some are getting 60 some around 100 minutes.

May have something to do with regions too. Different voltage outlets not being converted exactly the same.
