Honor 8 Firmware update

So, I was checking the Honor 8 support site and came across a firmware upgrade that is dated 9/14/2016. I was wondering why the ambient light sensor was working now. I can't seem to find the release notes though.

I don't think that's a newer firmware than what shipped out on the US model. The build number shown on that link is: C567B122, and that's the same build that was on the phone on release day.

Also, checking for updates from my phone says there are no available updates.

I suspect that 9-14-16 date shown on their website is the day they made the stock ROM available to download from their website (as I'd been trying to keep an eye on them making it available for download and previously it wasn't showing up on their site).
