Looks like a decent upgrade to the Honor 8! And, in my opinion, looks like a much better phone than the Huawei p10/plus.

Dear anyone from Honor, I would be more than willing to test the Honor 8 pro and tell everyone I know about it if you give me one! ^_^

If I were planning to upgrade this year, this would easily be my choice over everything else coming out. I'm very happy with the base honor 8 at the moment though, so no need to change until probably next year at this rate.

It looks pretty sweet. My personal preference is a larger phone and the pro would fit the bill. Unfortunately it isn't coming to the USA

OMGOSH THAT BATTERY.

5.7" may be a little steep for me, but I am so intrigued by this phone. Looks like they're still doing the fingerprint scanner on the back, yes? I was looking at the P10 and P10 Plus and their fingerprint scanner location makes me hesitant to try it.

Agreed regarding fingerprint scanner location. In my view this is a far more compelling phone than the p10/plus. And cheaper too! Huawei have to be careful or their sub-brand (honor) will become more popular than their main brand!

I definitely agree with you! Honor may pass their Huawei P series in sales and in user popularity! I would rather go to the P9 as it looks like their scanner (if they have one?) is on the back of the device.
