, Honor 8 still on October 2016 security update

Has anyone gotten a security update since the October 2016 update? I was hoping that Huawei / Honor was going to be a little more on top of security updates.

Nothing from them since October here.
I was hoping for a better update schedule also.

Hope this doesn't turn out to be the same old thing for the android crowd using honor phones.

Nope. I think they are so busy working on getting nougat out to us so they took a pause on that. They said February is when it will happen.

Just updated to EMUI 5.0 and it says December security update on mine.
