If you can handle the 6.6inch size, it looks solid with an AMOLED screen with 2K, 4GB of RAM, 4500mAh, Quick charge capability and for the same price as the Samsung A9 non pro.
Only downside for me is unknown software with EMUI and the Kirin 955 chipset and Mali GPU. Also no NFC but I disable that anyway.
What with the Kirin 960 looking to equal the SD821, I may wait it out. Was looking at the upcoming Mate 9 but the IPS screen is putting me off.
