Hooking a droid x up to your PC

Hey everyone,

Is there a cable that allows you to hook from your HDMI mini (on the phone) to your laptop? I would like to watch movies on my laptop that are coming from my phone.

I looked on amazon and ebay but could not come up with anything.

The easiest thing to do is going to be playing the movies directly off the SD card on the phone using the USB cable in mass storage mode. HDMI inputs into a laptop are few and far between, it allows for a pure digital video transfer post encryption which the powers that be don't like. The HDMI input on my desktop isn't actually an input into the computer, it switches the monitor mode to display the HDMI but the PC has nothing to do with it.

Another option is to use DLNA to play the file over the network, but if you're in cable range that's probably more trouble than it's worth.
