um, ok. i expected better from samsung. never had this issue with any other phone. cant install the driver for windows from the phone. pc cant see it. download it from the website, having to do a model search under downloads cuz there is no option under the s7 page.(pathetic). get it installed and windows takes FOREVER to open the sd card. got tired of waiting so unplugged the phone... every time you unplug it, it reboots the phone. wtf. how can something as simple as a phone driver be so ungodly bad?

That is interesting...I plugged my S7E into my PC the other day and when I unplugged it...the phone rebooted as well.

Must be a bug..

Oh, I could see unplugging a USB causing a kernel panic... you're accessing the HW layer and things can go South for a number of reasons. Now, if it happens EVERY time you pull the plug on it, then I'd be concerned. But a one-time mini-stroke, I wouldn't be concerned with.

Most people don't. It, "could", be a model or firmware issue. Which model and firmware are you on Snappy Phoenix?

I didn't have an issue even with the initial firmware as well. The only device I had lots of issues connecting was the Huawei Nexus 6P, that was my first experience with Huawei and definitely the last. Horrible quality and I needed to install separate drivers to access my phone from Windows.

No problems at all here with Windows 10, Driver automatically installed the first time I plugged it in. Smart switch works great too,
