HOT a/c adapter... normal?

I had to charge my tablet from 20 percent while using it. The adapter got very hot. Much hotter than I've experienced with other devices. Anyone experience the same? In other words... normal ASUS?

Pretty typical in my experience for both my TFP and TFI when plugged to the device, its cool when unplugged - I be worried at that point if it was hot unplugged. I even bought an OEM as an extra and it ran hot too.

I noticed my AC adapter also gets warm...strange. As long as it doesn't explode I'm okay with it since I don't plan on touching it too often. It is supplying quite a lot of current though, the tablet's battery is huge.

it shouldn't be HOT but warm is normal. Could be a bad part inside the adapter if it is too hot to hold.

I have been using the adapter from my TF101 lately and that adapter does not get warm but the one that came with the TF700 does. They are the same part, correct?

my prime and now my infinity plugs both got really hot, so i wouldn't worry too much about it
