Hot spot and tethering. How is the Maxx HD?

I've never use my cell phone as a hot spot but I would like to be able to use my Maxx HD to connect my Nexus 10. Has anyone tried this and how well does it work?
I tried it a couple time with my Droid X2 and my Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus. It never worked very well. I would only stay connected for a minute or two and then it would drop my tablet. I'm hoping that things have gotten more reliable with tethering.

I've used it a lot, and never had any problems with devices dropping. No problems at all.

My phone is rooted and bootloader unlocked. (I figured I give that disclaimer).
Anyway, tether my laptop and my iPad to it all the time.

Flawless...

Never had a problem. And the beast of a battery really shines as a hot spot compared to more typical phones, in my experience

No issues. I use it frequently for my laptop and my Transformer.
