hot swap sd card S20

hello don't want to power off my S20, as power button doesn't work. has anyone removed sd card while power was still on ? maybe with airplane mode on ? any advice appreciated. thanks

I'd look for an option to eject/unmount it in the phone settings and My Files app. Just pulling it without making sure it's safe to do so first is a fast track to corruption.

In the My Files app, there are three vertical dots on the right edge of the line for the SD card. Tap that, and the option to "unmount" is right there. It will make the card contents disappear. You can remove it then.

When you put it back in, you may have go back to that and "Mount" the card to access it again.

Yes I did that. It works fine after.
