HOTMAIL & YouTube issues

Hi I have 2 questions Please.
Samsung Tab E Lite SMT113 7 inch screen Android 4.4.4

( 1.) H0TM&IL (Outlook*c%m) when reading messages they are too large for the screen, often off to the right too far. If I rotate tablet to landscape it still does not fit, or sometimes becomes a long string of 1 or 2 letters. Fiddling with the settings seems to do little. If I go ^Chrome^ three dots upper right^ settings^ site settings^ outlooklive.com^ clear & reset This will delete all my mail,folders, contacts, saved mail etc.... so not a good option. Not sure why this happened, other email sites are fine just Hotmail. It is very invonvenient.

(2.) YOUTUBE If I had a red dot on my notifications it would go to it or a message, now goes to nothing? What version of Youtube should I be using??for this tablet??

Youtube version 14 07 59 which is currently installed. I think ( not completely sure) the tablet may have had Youtube version 14 43 55 installed?
The problem is there are four subversions of 14 07 59 & twenty-four subversion of 14 43 55. If indeed if at all correct version for this tablet.

That Andriod version is very old and will have compatibility issues with apps

Are you accessing Hotmail through the Outlook app, or the website?

I don't quite understand the YouTube issue. Do you mean that you see a notification dot on the YouTube app shortcut icon on the homescreen? What are you tapping where it goes to nothing?

Hi Thanks for help. I know the tablet is old, just not in budget for a while to replace. I
see red dot in notifications when I go to youtube.
I believe, but not totally sure it was YouTube version 14 43 55, before a helpful friend did something. Haha. Now has YouTube 14 07 59. I could try better versions of either, but I think 14 43 55 is the on but has twenty-four sub versions. I looked on internet for specs for this tablet it suggests firmware 4 4 4, display 1024 x 600, 160 DPI, processor ARMv7 rev sv71....just don't kniw how to figure which 14 43 55 to try.

The most current YouTube version is 17.10.37, so yours is far behind. It's likely that the most current version is no longer compatible with your old tablet, so that friend may have installed the apk of an earlier YouTube version that's still compatible.

Is there any possible way to tell which one would be the best one that would work with this tablet? For me, I am not sure of which of the twenty-four types of version fit 14 43 55 all dependent on technical specs I can't seem to determine other than what I posted in post 1

Not sure if processor is as I looked it might beARMv7 rev 5 v71 but there are many others.
So select new YouTube is difficult guessing match for me.

Sorry, I'm not sure about that. You could try searching other forums to see if anyone has this specific device or Android version and which YouTube version they use.
