Hotmail vs. Corporate Email sync

OK, so we understand how to connect to our Hotmail accounts through the droid. Through "Add an account" you have the option to set up a "corporate" account or through the stock email app you can set up a "Windows Hotmail" account.

Through the Windows account, the email will show formatting, pictures, etc. just as it would in your browser. However, you can only set it to check at 5 minute intervals.

Through the Corporate account, the email will NOT show formatting or pictures; only text and HTML codes. However, this account will push ALL email when it has arrived.

I like having all the pictures and formatting that a message is supposed to have and I want to be notified as soon as an email arrives, rather than having to wait or manually check. Is there any way to combine these two features? The best solution seems to be to forward all Hotmail via Gmail and then you get the best of both worlds, but my Gmail gets hundreds of spams a day and I don't want to deal with it.

Suggestions?

I was feeling the same way a few weeks ago about the best way to get my hotmail. I have been investigating the app I like best, between Hot Email and MailDroid. And I have to say for the past week i like the features of MailDroid. It will give you instant (well i mean depending on your connection speeds or reliability) mail notifications almost like a text. You also view your emails in a kind of condensed view, for faster loads, but this is hardly a problem as I recently found the option to "show images" which can switch the email in a normal web page form if it has lots of non-text content. With MailDroid you can add as many accounts as you like, so you could use it for hotmail, gmail, whatever, and protect them all with a master password, which is really a password for opening the MailDroid app. The one thing that I don't like and it comes from being a hotmail user, is that I need to be able to check my junk folder from time to time. This email client only will display your inbox. Since hotmail sometimes filters out non-junk like emails from new contacts or whatever, I find this to be the only problem. Oh I should also mention MailDroid is add supported, but there also may be a paid or donation version to get rid of that. Hope this is in line with what you were looking for.

I use Touchdown for Exchange and K-9 for my other email accounts. I find this is a good compromise, TD gets me what I need for my corporate email and K-9 is IMO much better than the stock email app.

Well, I ended up forwarding my Hotmail to my Gmail account and am just using the stock app for that and it seems to be pretty solid; much like I was looking for.
