can this phone give off a hotspot on the sprint network without paying for it?:-\

When rooted, and with a hotspot/tethering app, yes. You'll have to find a place to sideload the app from, however, since Sprint is now blocking direct install of them from the Android Market if what I hear online is correct (already had mine installed, so haven't tried redownloading).

thanks my phone has been saying some kind of error and i was just wondering if i had to pay for it. I'll try rooting it because i barely got thanks.
