How are you protecting your EVO?

I have the Seidio Innocase II with the holster for the Pre and love it but I do notice alot of build up when I take it off to clean it. maybe I'm not doing it often enough.

If there is something that keeps the phone completely away from dirt and lint, I want it.

There's actually a thread titled Dissapointment with the Seidio Innocase or something to that effect.

It's loose, durt/dust gets trapped between the case & phone body. It seems to get loser the more you take it on and off.

It has a decent feel to it at first I just wish it stayed like that.

What awesome product doesn't keep dirt and lint trapped?

this is my exact complaint

So it would seem the question is Invisible shield, Ghost shield, BodyGuardz or Phantomskinz as a screen protector. Who here has compared these?

If it wasn't so loose it wouldn't get trapped between the phone and the case, it's like trapping dirt next to your phone. I'd prefer it to trap it on the outside of the case..

True. but my Innocase for the Pre is tight and lets in alot of dirt. granted its a two piece front and back versus top and bottom like Evo's Innocase.

...I was wondering how others are protecting their EVO...

With a baseball bat.

In all seriousness, I grabbed the Fellows screen protectors from RadioShack the day I got the phone...

...figuring even if I didn't like that particular protector, I could always rip it off and get another, better one. But until then, the screen would in fact be protected.

I've heard good things about the Zag(?) protectors? Why are they so special?

HTC silicone black skin. sprint screen protectors. The screen protectors r working really well for me & cant even tell its on there so I haven't tried Zagg or anything like that.

The only part of the phone that I'm worried about getting scratched is the glass that is in front of the camera. In the past, a few scratches on the side, back, etc doesn't bother me and I always feel safe enough that the glass on the screen is durable enough to not worry about.

That being said, I'm currently using a microfiber bag with a draw string from Sunglass Hut. The bag helps protect the camera while in my pocket and is used to lay the phone on while sitting on the desk. It's extra thin and doesn't add much bulk in my pocket, wipes the screen for me while in my pocket so it's usually smudge free and helps protect it from slight scratches. (I just need to be careful not to drop it) :)

I took a rough circle of the screen protector material I got and just put on the back glass like I've done with the last 2 phones I've had. Never noticed a problem for pictures or focus, either.

What protector did you use for it? ISheild, BodyGuardz? My fear doing that was always the quality of pictures, etc.
