This is LTE (Verizon) at home in my PC room and then my wifi in the same spot.

Not nearly as good as my iPhone 7+. Only getting like 10-15mb when I checked last. 😯

Gotcha. How much?

Normally $90 a month. I have TV w/ DirecTV so $136 for TV/Internet (unlimited data). I did just get a credit of $25 a month applied for AT&T unlimited (friend who has Comcast at home set his AT&T wireless account to my billing address and they're giving me the $25 a month off for having AT&T wireless) so next bill should be around $111?

LTE should be around the same given the conditions are the same. WiFi should be whatever you normally get with your home internet unless you're outside or something :).

Switched from ATT to T-Mobile for this phone. Internet is DirectTV 100meg service.
Here's some random samples since I got the phone.

Post non-wifi speeds please

Thought this was LTE and WiFi thread? But anyway...

Look at the left most symbol on each line. Line 1 symbol is wifi. Line 2 is cellular.
Use that to determine the rest of the results listed

Oh I'm very well aware of the difference. My LTE speeds on S8+ don't seem to be quite as fast as on my iPhone 7+. Maybe dillusional. Yeah, wifi on home network is the same ~250 or so 👌

those are my speeds from inside the house (lte) obviously.

Don't have any WiFi currently cuz I don't use it.

At. all.

Pre s8 results. Have to post because this is funny. The oldest speed is before my carrier responded to my complaint to the FCC about data throttling. The more recent is after my carrier gave me the works plan to give positive response to government.
The real reason carriers switched back to unlimited is because government was suing them and they were getting a lot of complaints after getting sued. Can't advertise unlimited internet and then slow the data down to near 0 after going over a limit on an unlimited plan. Theres some serious problems with that.

My apologies. I see it now.

And then my home WiFi slower than the LTE. Thank god I have unlimited so most of the time I'm on LTE to enjoy the blazing download speeds.
